How far are you from the: Interstate, The Caverns, Sewanee, Chattanooga, Nashville ?

We are 7 minutes from the interstate, 15 minutes from The Caverns, 15 minutes from Sewanee, 60 minutes from Chattanooga (The Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls, Rock City, Festivals, etc.), and 90 minutes from Nashville (The Grand Ole Opry, Tennessee Titans, Opryland Hotel and Outlet Mills, etc.)

What activities are around Mountain Goat Getaways?

With over 130 miles of State Park trails and 9 waterfalls within a few minutes drive, we also have the Mountain Goat Trail within walking distance, The Caverns for concerts, and Chattanooga attractions close enough to enjoy for multiple activities in a day. A 15-minutes drive gets you to the Coalmont OHV Park. And, don't forget about Nashville just up the road!

When/How do I get directions and check-in instructions?

All the information for your stay will be sent to your inbox. A week or two out, you will receive area info. Then, three or so days prior to checking in, you will receive directions and check-in details. (We do have personal check-ins so that we can answer any questions you may have.) We will make sure you receive everything you need to get here and meet us at the door to get you checked in and ready to relax, or get busy with your planned fun!

Where can we get firewood for the outside fire pit?

Summerfield Market is just down the road and you may purchase it there. Or, purchase your firewood at the property from us for $5 per equivalent bundle. Just let us know how much you need and you can pay for it during your stay.

Do you have a grill? And, is it gas or charcoal?

Yes! Our grills are propane and we have the tank there, ready to go. If you run out, just give us a shout and run a full one over to you.

What is your pet policy? Can we bring our pup?

We maintain a strict no-pet policy. This is for the comfort of all our guests so as to keep our places free from any allergens. This ensures each guest has a wonderful, stress-free getaway.
